In my quest for the most affordable but comfy wingback chairs, I came across the Stone & Beam Highland which is a very modern wingback with all the comfort.
If you looked at my review of the traditional wingback chair above I state that sometimes comfort is given up in the name of style.
This is the chair that did not give up being cozy in order to be modern.
The Highland is a contemporary yet modern wing chair but it’s not as short as contemporary chairs usually are so it offers great back support and is very nice to sit in.
The wings are short and shoot straight down into armrests that only go 3/4 of the way across the chair.
The seat cushion is very thick and this is a chair you could sit in for hours.

It has beech wood legs and measures 37.8 inches long, 31.9 inches wide, and 42 inches tall. I
t weighs 65 lbs which tells you there are some materials and quality put into this chair.

Because this is a review of the best modern yet affordable wingback chair I have to go with the Stone & Beam Highland and there are a few reasons why.
While it’s not the most affordable chair on the list the benefits you get in the long run make it more affordable in the end.
The other chairs are great and will look stunning in any room but there is some comfort given up for affordability.
This wingback chair is made with quality and is by far the most comfortable wing chair on this list. It will also be the chair that lasts the longest.
The next reason is the amazing contemporary look it has. This is a true modern wingback chair that is trending all over the world and has been for years.
It’s the kind of chair you’ve seen people in movies snuggling up by the fire in and it makes modern decor cozy.
I recommend this chair to those who want comfort and style all in one well-made chair.
