To install a silicone door draft stopper simply cut the door draft stopper to fit the width of the door.
Clean the area of the door the tape will stick on. Starting from one end start peeling the tape and sticking the stripping to the door.
Make sure the bottom is touching the floor lightly but not pressing.
After installation, it’s recommended to not move the door for 24 hours to give the adhesive plenty of time to set.

It’s thick in the right places and thin on the bottom to prevent noisy dragging. If you want to stop annoying dirt, bugs, and drafts from traveling around your home this is a fantastic option.

With the Grotheroy Door Draft Stopper, you get two per package. The strips are 39 inches long and 1.9 inches wide for door gaps from 0-1 inches tall.
They are made with silicone and use double sided tape that is advertised to be waterproof and the stickiest around.
The form is the thick 3 layered style that is more durable and better at insulating and blocking noise than the single-layered kind.

The Grotheory Door Draft Stopper Weather Stripping is durable and has extra strong tape that can even be used on the outside of shower doors.
The side that shows is rounded and has a nice finished look that will pair well with doors inside a home.
ZBEIVAN Silicone Door Draft Stopper
The ZBEIVAN silicone door draft stopper comes in packs of 3 and can fit door gaps from 0-1 inch. The total length is 39.37 inches which can be cut to fit any size of door.
The height is 1.73 inches which means the space for the double sided tape is a little less than on the 2 inch wide silicone door draft stoppers but it’s still a durable seal that can be used on any door in or outside of the house.
The color options are: black, brown, and white.
The pattern that sits below the door is a little different than the others.
Instead of squares that end with thin pieces that sweep the floor the ZBEIVAN door draft stopper has a thick zig-zag pattern that runs 1 inch down and ends with two legs, one short and one long.

The design makes it an excellent draft and sound stopper but it may be noisier when the door is moved.
The ZBEIVAN Silicone Door Draft Stopper has the advantage of coming in a three pack but it may not be quite as easy on the floor and the tape isn’t quite as thick and therefore not as strong.
It’s still a fantastic option for more doors in the home and its unique design makes it better for keeping out sound and insulating.
Baining Door Draft Stopper Sweep
The Baining door draft stopper uses the standard 3 layer design for maximum sound dapening and insulation while still being able to lightly sweep across the floor.
It’s advertised to be able to cover gaps from 0 – 1.5 inches but it’s still just 2 inches tall like the others in this review.
It has a smaller tape area which could be the reason. The length is the standard 39 inches.
The double-sided tape is 3M which is one of the best tape makers in the industry.
Even though there might be a little bit less tape on the Baining than other brands it’s still going to hold up well and stay securely on the door.
The color options are: black, brown, grey, and white.
The Baining Door Draft Stopper Sweep is another great way to keep cold or warm air inside the rooms of your home.
Silicone Seal Strip Draft Stopper
The final option for silicone door draft stoppers is to use a thinner silicone seal strip.
It comes in larger quantities than the thicker silicone draft stopper and while it might not be as good at insulating and stopping noise and light it’s still a great option to reduce drafts and stop dust and insects.
The seal strip is secured with double-sided tape and is lightweight and easy to install. A roll comes with 26 feet. It’s 1.7 inches tall and can cover gaps from 0 – 1 inch tall.

Now for the traditional snake style door draft stoppers. These have been around for years and they work well for doors with extra big gaps.
The MAGZO is 36 inches in total length. It can’t be cut down to size but it will still fit smaller doors, all you have to do is fold it.
The height is 3 inches which means it can easily fill gaps up to 2.5 inches.
You can use this snake door draft stopper the regular way and place it every time you enter a room or you can use the included velcro strips.
You install them on the side of the door you want the draft stopper to sit on and use the fuzzy side of the snake to stick it.
Because of the velcro, the draft stopper will follow the door which means you don’t have to place it every time like you have to do with traditional snake style door draft stoppers.

Home District makes regular snake style door draft stoppers but the one I want to review is the sliding door one.
It’s unique because it has a thick end and a skinny end. The thick end will sit over the tracks of a sliding screen door and the skinny end sits against the inside moving door.
It’s a great design for homes with sliding doors.
The total length is 71 inches and one half is 4 inches wide & tall while the other half is 4 inches tall and 8 inches wide to fit over the tracks that can let in a lot of cold or hot air.
The snake is filled with insulating polyester and the outer cover is made with soft suede.
The color options include: brown tweed, light brown, burgundy, chocolate, gray, and navy. There are even other size options that will fit standard doors and even windows.
The Home District Sliding Door Draft Blocker for sliding doors is unique and one of the only draft door stoppers you will find specifically made to fit sliding doors.
The tracks of sliding doors aren’t very airtight and it’s a good kind of door to use a draft stopper on.

Another style of cloth door draft stopper is a foam tube that is secured to one side of the door with velcro.
This style isn’t as effective as the snake or double sided style but it’s the quietest kind and it works on all kinds of floors including carpet with zero risk of any kind of damage.
